Ruby Rose Martini

I first created this recipe at Miam Miam Bar on Long Street, Cape Town in 2005 and named it after my first daughter Ruby.

2006 saw this recipe as the national cocktail after winning the South African Championships.

It was first created with a generic rose syrup however during COVID 19 lockdowns in Australia I create day own Rose & Vanilla syrup which took this drink tot he next level. Still to this day it is one of my top recipes on my events and it has appeared on dozens of menus across the globe throughout my travels and relocation from South Africa to London and then to Australia.

This recipe also appears in all Live Nation music halls throughout Australia as a tap poured cocktail for the masses.
